This scene depicts what I like to imagine - Mother Nature keeping a close eye on one of man's necessary evils and pondering the mix of modern industry and natural beauty that is before her.

The Mt. Storm coal fired power plant uses this lake as a cooling basin. The waters of the lake remain at a constant warm temperature thoughout the entire year. This lake is well known in scuba diving circles for it's warm water and easy to access location.
