Antietam National Battlefield

Standing tall and backlit by the harsh afternoon light are monuments to the 45th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment and 100th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment .

These monuments have stood since and were dedicated on
September 17, 1904. Although we only visited a small portion of the Antietam National Battlefield, there are many interesting scenes at every turn. The harsh afternoon sun and scattered clouds made it a challenge for photography, but I found it to be rather interesing in some spots.
