Most people that visit Harpers Ferry, WV are attracted to the historical significance and displays - rightly so, as it played an important part in shaping the history of our great country. Just up river on the Potomac is a beautiful spot in an area known as Engles. Immediately to the right and out of view is Dam #3 which creates this wonderful pool of backwater.
